To help you know when the heart rate monitor is ready to use, Red and Blue LED lights will flash. The Red light indicates TP5D is awake and has detected a heart beat. The Blue LED will flash when it is ready to pair in Bluetooth and ANT+ to a fitness app or ANT+ device. 
 
TP5D is supplied with the FF5 Super Soft all fabric chest strap or the FP3 performance Chest strap. Select your preferred option.

Featuring fabric electrodes integrated into the belt, FF5 is our softest, lightest and most comfortable chest belt available. Designed to meet the demands of ultra cyclists who requested the softest and most comfortable chest belt they could wear all day without any drops in connection. FF5 uses vertical stitching giving increased flexibility and adjusts to a wider range of chest sizes.
 
Performance Chest Strap (FP3) is a soft elasticated heart rate strap with polymer electrodes integrated into the strap giving maximum performance and comfort. The adaptive polymer electrodes pick up your heart's electrical signal with 99.4% accuracy in all conditions. The standard strap is fully adjustable and can fit to all sizes from Small to X Large.
